What is Reiki and how can it help me?
Reiki reduces stress and enhances well-being.
Reiki (pronounced “ray–key”) is a simple, gentle, hands-on energy technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki restores body, mind and spirit via light touch on or above the body. Originally from Japan, this non-invasive, vibrational energy healing is offered while the recipient lies fully clothed on a massage table. Reiki promotes a deep state of relaxation and thus stimulates the body's inherent self-healing abilities.
As a complementary alternative healing modality, Reiki is accessible, safe and effective for everyone and can be used to enhance conventional medical treatment and/or psychotherapy. Under no circumstances, however, should Reiki take the place of medical care. It is recommended that a licensed physician is seen for any physical or psychological ailments in addition to Reiki treatments.
You do not need to be ill to benefit from Reiki treatments. Many people see a Reiki practitioner on a regular basis to reduce stress and maintain overall well-being.

Many people learn how to practice Reiki to heal themselves. The ability to practice Reiki is passed down through the Reiki lineage from Reiki Master to student in a process called attunement and involves several levels of training. Reiki attunements are offered upon request.
